Welcome!

After 40 years of the daily grind, I decided it was time to follow my heart and pursue my passions as a writer and photographer. Writing has been a part of my life on and off over the years, but now I’m embracing it, and I’m ready to share my journey and random musings with you.

My husband and I call San Diego, California, home. When we’re not traveling, we spend our days with our two adopted furry kids: Jax, a Border Collie mix who loves beach walks as much as we do, and George, a charming Snowshoe cat. Spoiling them rotten is a top priority!

We enjoy traveling, cooking, discovering new dog-friendly restaurants, bird-watching, and exploring the ever-changing shoreline with Jax. Our travels inspire many of my blog posts, but you’ll also find a mix of other reflections and ruminations sprinkled in.
